Handforth station's Friends group is active in securing signs for its station as a source of interest and amusement. Most are supplied by (or at least, created with the blessing of) railway companies way outside the area. This page illustrates all signs seen on the editor's visits on 11 October 2020 and 15 September 2021. A few signs were inadvertently missed so images are as credited. A 'reciprocal' sign is illustrated at the bottom of the page. The site is continuously evolving and some signs have been removed; they are retained here for the historical record.

Signs are shown in no particular order.
