Northern Ireland

It appears that no licences exist yet for the Translink network.  The UK's ORR has economic regulation oversight but does not licence undertakings.

Republic of Ireland

The Commission for Railway Regulation has issued two licences thus far, both apparently valid for five years.  At late 2020 these do not appear to have been renewed.

Iarnród Éireann Railway Undertaking

From 29 September 2015

Railway Preservation Society of Ireland

From 24 September 2015

It was expected that Translink would apply for a licence to cover cross-border services in 2019.  At October 2020 this does not appear to have taken place.
